Allison Petroff, RMT

Registered Massage Therapist

Allison graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2002 and has been practicing as an RMT ever since. In 2004, she co-founded Synergy Massage Therapy Centre with her friend and business partner, Sherri Muir. Their shared vision was to create a safe, welcoming space where clients could find refuge, support, and a path toward lasting healing.

Each session with Allison is personalized and rooted in the understanding that the body is an interconnected system with a powerful ability to heal. However, the physical and emotional demands of life can create patterns of tension, restriction, and dysfunction. By carefully assessing each individual and listening closely to what the body is communicating, Allison uses effective, targeted techniques to release adhesions, restore mobility, and support long-term balance.

Her approach is deeply informed by ongoing studies in Myofascial Release, Visceral Manipulation, and Craniosacral Therapy. These modalities continue to deepen her understanding of how the body functions and how to support its return to ease and resilience. Over the years, she has worked with a wide range of conditions, including stubborn postural patterns, athletic injuries, and digestive concerns.

Allison believes that when the body moves well, life simply feels better. She sees movement not just as a physical act, but as a form of medicine—essential for well-being and for staying connected to the activities and things we love. This belief was reinforced during her own recovery from an Achilles rupture in 2024. The process of healing and regaining mobility gave her a renewed appreciation for moving with freedom and ease—something she brings into every treatment with empathy and purpose.

Outside the clinic, Allison leads an active lifestyle and spends as much time as possible in nature. She’s an avid mountain biker and trail runner, and finds joy in snowboarding, surfing, and backcountry hiking adventures with her husband, their two sons, and their big, goofy dog.
